Welcome To GSS Machining Solutions
GSS Machining Solutions is a ISO-9000 registered supplier of precision machined castings, and turned components. We provide Machined Components to the customers specifications in Iron, Steel or Aluminum Castings, as well as Machined Steel Bar Stock, and flat work.
Secondary services
We offer secondary services such as heat treat, welding, painting, coating, etc., to provide the complete product that our customers require.
Low to medium production
We specialize in low to medium production runs from 50 to 1500 per year, with some higher quantities of 10,000 per year.
Location
Our CNC Intensive Machine Shop is located in North Pekin, Illinois and employs about 150 employees in our 109,000 square foot plant.
Since 1966 our machine shop has had the privilege of supplying quality Machined Components to the leaders in the energy, diesel engine, military, transmission, and construction equipment fields, to name just a few!

What do we make?
We make adapters, arm assemblies, trunnions, blocks, brackets, caps , connectors, counterweights, couplings, covers, cylinders, elbows, flanges, heads, flywheels, housings, levers, manifolds, pins, plates, cylinder liners, pulleys, plugs, rings, shafts, sheaves, shims, spacers, supports, yokes, valve bodies.
100% of our fixturing is designed and built “in house” by experienced designers & machinist’s, providing a competitive edge in quality, delivery and cost.

Our equipment
GSS has a large inventory of late model CNC Machine Centers and Lathes. Our largest machine center pallet size is 1,000 mm. Our largest lathe "chuck" is 28" in diameter. Because we are continually upgrading and purchasing new equipment, our equipment list is constantly changing. As a reference, our work envelope size for Horizontal CNC work centers is 43”Lx22”W x18” H. Our CNC Lathes work envelope is 18” diameter by 60” L.
